Biography

Blagoj Bochvarski – Minister of Transport and Communications

Blagoj Bochvarski was born on January 9, 1985 in Shtip.
He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the University St. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje.
Professional career begins in 2011 in the company Pelagonia-Engineer – as a graduate engineer architect. In the beginning, he was hired as a professional associate, and then he received authorizations for the design and construction of buildings from the Chamber of Certified Engineers and Architects.
In the parliamentary elections in 2016, he was elected as a member of Parliament.
He holds the position of deputy until the elections in 2017.
From November 3, 2017, he assumed the post of mayor of the Municipality of Shtip.
Then, as mayor, he was elected as a member of the Management Board of ZELS. During the mayoral mandate, he was elected co-chairman of the Joint Consultative Committee of North Macedonia with the European Union. Within the framework of ZELS, he was elected as the president of the Commission for Urban Planning.
Since 2019, he has been president of the Eastern Planning Board region.
After the parliamentary elections in 2020, from August 30, he held the position of Minister of Transport and Communications.
Previously, in 2014, he was elected as the President of the Commission for Transport and Communications of SDSM, and from 2017 to 2019 she held the position of Vice-President of SDSM.
Possesses advanced IT skills and skills familiar with Auto Cad and Archi Cad programs. It has a certificate for using the 3DS Max program.
