Biography
Ms. Soljakova has over 22 years’ experience in finance and development in emerging markets, working both on the investment, advisory side, and country management side.
Ms. Soljakova joined IFC 19 years ago as an analyst and has held posts as a country officer, investment officer and business development officer. She is currently a Senior Country Officer covering IFC’s operations in Croatia, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Slovenia and responsible for business development in the manufacturing and services sector for the Western Balkans.
Prior to joining IFC, Ms. Soljakova worked as a project manager for a software development company in the USA, where she managed a software-upgrading project for a global petroleum company and as a management consultant for Crimson Capital in the Western Balkans.
Ms. Soljakova holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business and Trade from the University Sts. Cyril and Methodius, Faculty of Economics in Skopje, North Macedonia and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Goizueta Business School, Emory University in Atlanta, USA.
